SERDANG, 3rd July – The Centre for Alumni Relations, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), extends its heartfelt congratulations to the winners who secured fourth to tenth place in the Putra Alumni VPRO Challenge 2026, themed Food Security.
The competition, which featured participation from the UPM Student Category and the UPM Alumni, UPM Staff and Public Category, served as a platform to showcase participants' creativity, innovation and storytelling skills through impactful video content. By highlighting the importance of food security, participants successfully raised public awareness of one of today's most significant global and national challenges.
The prize presentation ceremony was officiated by Mr. Fahmi Azar Mistar, Director of the Centre for Alumni Relations, UPM, together with Ms. Aman Preet Kaur A/P Rajinder Singh, representative of the UPM Alumni Association. The ceremony celebrated the dedication, creativity and outstanding efforts demonstrated by participants in producing meaningful and high-quality video submissions.

The Putra Alumni VPRO Challenge 2026 reflects UPM's continued commitment to fostering digital creativity and encouraging the production of educational content that inspires positive change within the community. Each submission showcased participants' ability to communicate complex issues through engaging visual storytelling while promoting greater public understanding of the importance of food security.
The Centre for Alumni Relations, UPM, also expresses its sincere appreciation to all participants, supporters and partners whose contributions played a vital role in the success of this competition. Their enthusiasm and commitment have strengthened the collaborative spirit between the university, its alumni and the wider community.
