TRANSFORMING UPM’S ENDOWMENT MANAGEMENT THROUGH THE PUTRA ENDOWMENT FUND SYSTEM

SERDANG, 6 August – The Alumni Relations Centre, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), participated in the Service Innovation Award Presentation (Management Category), held in conjunction with UPM’s Service Quality and Innovation Day (HKIP) 2025–2026, by showcasing its innovative project, the Putra Endowment Fund System.

The project presentation was led by Mr. Fahmi Azar Mistar, Director of the UPM Alumni Relations Centre, in collaboration with Ms. Besek Intan Zafina Basok, highlighting the system as part of the Centre’s efforts to strengthen the management of Putra Endowment UPM through a more systematic, efficient and integrated approach.

The Putra Endowment Fund System is a management innovation initiative designed to support a more structured approach to the administration and management of the university’s endowment funds. The development of the system is aligned with UPM’s efforts to enhance service delivery efficiency while leveraging technology to support more effective fund management.

Through the implementation of the system, processes related to the management of Putra Endowment can be better coordinated, contributing to improved operational efficiency and more streamlined management of fund-related information. The initiative also reflects the UPM Alumni Relations Centre’s commitment to exploring innovative solutions that create added value for the university’s management and service delivery.

Throughout the presentation session, the panel of judges provided valuable insights, recommendations and assessments regarding the implementation of the Putra Endowment Fund System and its potential for further enhancement. The feedback received serves as an important input in strengthening the system to ensure that it remains relevant, efficient and responsive to current and future management needs.

The UPM Alumni Relations Centre extends its sincere appreciation to the panel of judges for their valuable insights, recommendations and constructive assessments throughout the presentation session. Appreciation is also extended to all staff members whose support, commitment and cooperation contributed to the successful development of the project and its presentation.

The participation of the Putra Endowment Fund System in the Service Innovation Award (Management Category) at HKIP UPM 2025–2026 represents part of the UPM Alumni Relations Centre’s continuous efforts to foster a culture of innovation, enhance management efficiency and strengthen the quality of service delivery in support of the university’s continued excellence and sustainability.
