Cameron Highlands, 22 December – The Alumni Relations Centre Appreciation Night 2025 was held in Cameron Highlands in an atmosphere of gratitude, warmth and togetherness to honour the dedication, commitment and contributions of the entire staff of the Universiti Putra Malaysia Alumni Relations Centre (ARCUPM) throughout 2025. The event was organised to recognise the ongoing dedication, tireless efforts and strong teamwork of ARCUPM staff in strengthening alumni networks and supporting the excellence of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM).

The evening was graced by Mr Muhazam Mansor, Registrar of Universiti Putra Malaysia; Mr Fahmi Azar Mistar, Director of the UPM Alumni Relations Centre (ARCUPM); Dr Muhammad Mu’az Mahmud, Deputy Director of ARCUPM; and Mr Sharudin Sahrani, Officer to the Vice-Chancellor of UPM and Deputy Commandant of the SISPA Corps. Also present were Tuan Haji Md Amin Jaafar, Secretary-General of the UPM Alumni Association; Ms Siti Nur’ Ain Feisal, Assistant Registrar of the Faculty of Educational Studies; members of the UPM Student Representative Council (MPP); student representatives from Chapter CSA; and representatives from the YOSH Alumni Chapter. The event was further enriched by the presence of ARCUPM staff family members, who joined the dinner and shared in the celebration, adding warmth and a sense of togetherness to the occasion.

As a highlight of the evening, five Appreciation Award categories were presented to recognise outstanding staff performance: Best Discipline Award, Inspirational Colleague Award, Rising Star Award, Dedication & Commitment Award (selected through internal voting with the top three nominees announced), and a Special Award for exceptional contribution. The event was further enlivened by a staff gift exchange session using a Spin Wheel, creating a lively, cheerful and relaxed atmosphere while strengthening camaraderie among the team.


Following the gift exchange, the programme continued with a 2025 recap video screening, edited by Fazrini, showcasing key moments, programme achievements and the continuous commitment of ARCUPM staff in delivering alumni initiatives throughout the year. The video evoked pride and appreciation for the collective efforts of the team.
In conclusion, the Alumni Relations Centre Appreciation Night 2025 not only celebrated staff achievements, but also reflected a strong work culture built on teamwork, professionalism and dedication. Heartfelt appreciation is extended to all ARCUPM staff for their unwavering commitment. This spirit is hoped to continue driving excellence and the success of ARCUPM in the years ahead.
