Vista and Memory is a project to strengthen alumni engagement on the ACUPM social media. Vista is focuses on panoramas and landscapes at UPM while Memory is the nostalgic memories of alumni during their time at UPM.

Series 1 Vista dan Memory highlighted one of the iconic building at Universiti Putra Malaysia which is Dewan Besar, Pusat Kebudayaan dan Kesenian Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah (PKKSSAAS). This building was reminiscing a thousand and one stories  to alumni during their study time.

Herewith, a brief fact about Dewan Besar PKKSSAAS through PKKSSAAS website.

Art and Culture Centre, Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah (PKKSSAAS) was completed in 1978. Initially, PKKSSAAS only known as the Great Hall of the UPM and placed under the administration of General Services Division, Office of the Registrar. The main function of the Great Hall of UPM is to provide facilities for all university events such as Convocation, examination halls, exhibitions, conferences, seminars, badminton competition between Institutions of Higher Learning (IPTA) and student association activities.

PKKSSAAS was inaugurated on 25 April 1996 by His Majesty Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Al-Haj, son of the late Sultan Hisamuddin Alam Shah, the Sultan of Selangor. On top of concerns for the arts and culture of his homeland, then the University has taken the initiative to perpetuate PKKSSAAS with his name.

PKKSSAAS serves as a cultural and arts centre that excels in contributing to human development, especially to the campus and the country generally. In addition, PKKSSAAS is an entity that is accounted as a medium for the continuity of any event organized by the university and the program in particular.
