Tanjung Karang, 5 August 2025 – The UPM Alumni Podcast, held on the evening of 5 August 2025, featured an engaging and insightful discussion titled “Kampung Angkat Madani: Upholding Identity, Sustaining Community Development.”

The session highlighted the voices of two distinguished UPM alumni who are also part of the Tanjung Karang Adopted Family, Mr. Hamzah Pandi (UPM Alumni 2000) and his wife, Ms. Zaleha Ibos (UPM Alumni 2008)

Both speakers shared their inspiring journeys in building community resilience through values of family, unity, and cultural identity. They emphasized how these principles serve as the foundation of a madani society and how grassroots efforts play a crucial role in fostering sustainable and inclusive community development.

Hosted at Kg. Sawah Sempadan, Tanjung Karang, the podcast drew active participation from villagers, alumni, and members of the UPM community who tuned in with great enthusiasm. The energy and spirit of the evening strongly reflected the UPM alumni motto: “With Knowledge We Serve.”

The UPM Alumni Relations Centre sincerely thanks all participants and supporters of the session. It is hoped that such meaningful exchanges will continue to nurture solidarity while strengthening collective efforts to uphold identity and advance community development that is both harmonious and sustainable.
