UPM ALUMNI LEADING AT THE MINISTRY OF NATIONAL UNITY

Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) continues to excel as a leading institution of higher learning, producing capable and competitive alumni who now play vital roles in the governance and development of the nation. One such outstanding alumnus is Mr Ahmad Rafeein Mohamad, a member of the Class of 2015, who currently serves as Senior Principal Assistant Secretary at the Ministry of National Unity.

Mr Ahmad Rafeein holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Development from UPM, a field that focuses on human potential, strategic leadership, and effective organisational management. The knowledge and experience he gained during his studies at UPM have laid a solid foundation for his contributions in developing national policies and initiatives aimed at promoting unity and social harmony.

As a senior officer in the ministry responsible for national cohesion, he plays a pivotal role in planning and implementing a range of strategic programmes designed to strengthen integration among Malaysia’s multiracial, multi-religious, and multicultural society. His focus on inclusive community development and nation-building efforts has made a significant impact on the landscape of national unity.

His success and achievements are a clear reflection of UPM’s commitment to producing graduates who are not only academically excellent but also competent, ethical, and people-orientated. Mr Ahmad Rafeein stands as one of UPM’s finest examples of alumni leadership, contributing meaningfully to society and to the stability of the nation.
