Serdang, June 26th - The UPM Alumni Relations Center (ARCUPM) organized a Creative Writing Briefing today (June 26, 2024) at the Menara Warisan Budi Room, ARCUPM. This briefing provided valuable guidance on how to write creatively and engage readers.
Contents:
- 🖋 Techniques and styles of creative writing
- 📚 Sharpening storytelling skills
- 🎨 Developing ideas and concepts
- 📠Tips for writing more effectively and attractively
The briefing, which lasted nearly three hours, also covered how to produce good and accurate news headlines and articles. Creating headlines is crucial because they are the initial hook that attracts readers to continue reading the content. Ineffective headlines can reduce readers' interest in moving to the next phase.
ARCUPM extends its highest appreciation to the excellent speaker, Ms. Maryam Elyas (HRD Corp Certified Writing Coach), who shared her knowledge and experience with great enthusiasm and interactivity. Thank you for opening the minds of all participants to become more creative and critical writers.
We also thank all the participants who attended the briefing. Thank you for joining and making this briefing a success. We hope that all the knowledge gained can be applied to your writing, and you continue to produce beneficial writings.
