Serdang, Jan 18th - Alumni Relations Centre UPM (ARCUPM) was visited by Ts. Mohd Dinul Syahidi Sabardin and Encik Wan Muhammad as EKSA auditors to assess the tidiness, conductivity, and safety of the work environment at ARCUPM.
EKSA Self-Assessment is a screening assessment to select the Responsibility Centers (PTj) that will enter the final evaluation before being selected as the winner. Among the PTjs, ARCUPM has been selected as the winner in 2022.
Following the EKSA Internal Audit that was conducted on January 4, 2024, several changes and improvements have been made in accordance with EKSA criteria that have been set such as placing labels on each electrical switch for safety purposes and ensuring that the information corners display the latest information.
The score obtained by ARCUPM from this screening assessment shows a good performance. Even so, there are still some improvements in terms of tidiness and cleanliness that need to be done before the next evaluation.
Public Sector Conducive Ecosystem or better known as EKSA, was introduced as a rebranding from the Public Sector 5S Practice. By improving elements such as creativity, innovation, and a conducive environment, this can improve the quality of public sector work in facing challenges in the future. Among the main objectives of EKSA is to improve the corporate image and implement green practices in the workplace.
