Serdang 10 April 2025, The YPR Putra Cakna Series 2 program, titled “Chemical Residue in Agricultural Products: What Do We Need to Know?”, was successfully held on 10 April 2025 at Mini Auditorium 1, Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation), UPM. The program featured Ms. Siti Norliza Mohd Din, a Yayasan Pak Rashid scholarship recipient for the 2013/2014 session, who shared her insights and experiences on the issue of chemical residues in agricultural products.
The program aimed to raise awareness among participants about the effects of chemical use in agriculture and the measures that can be taken to minimize residue impact on food safety. It also served as a valuable platform to strengthen ties between Yayasan Pak Rashid scholarship recipients and the university community through the sharing of knowledge and expertise.

We were honored by the presence of several distinguished guests, including YBhg. Dato’ Professor Ir. Dr. Ahmad Farhan Mohd Sadullah, Vice-Chancellor of UPM; YBhg. Dato’ Raihan Shariff, President of PAUPM; YBhg. Tan Sri Datuk Seri Hj. Mazlan Lazim; YAM Dato’ Seri Diraja Syed Razlan Ibni Syed Putra Jamalullail; YBrs. Tuan Haji Ghazali Salamat; and Professor Dr. Arifin Abdu, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Student Affairs and Alumni). Also in attendance were the board of trustees of Yayasan Pak Rashid, UPM alumni, and university staff who added to the significance of the event.

The program had a positive impact on participants by providing a platform to explore important issues related to food safety and modern agriculture. The Q&A session following the talk allowed attendees to engage directly with the speaker and gain deeper understanding of the topic discussed.
