Serdang, 16 October 2025 – The YOSH Bonding Day organised by the YOSH Alumni Chapter of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) was successfully held at Dewan Kenyalang, Kolej Sultan Alaeddin Suleiman Shah (KOSASS), UPM, from 8.00 to 10.30 p.m. The event brought together 40 first-year students, who are also new members of YOSH UPM, including several international students from China.

The programme began with an opening address by Associate Professor Dr. Mursyid, the Chief Advisor of the YOSH UPM Alumni Chapter, who welcomed the students and shared motivational insights on the importance of volunteerism and the role of students in fostering a resilient and caring community.

The session continued with a presentation by the President of the YOSH UPM Alumni Chapter, Ms. Asyiqin Ramli, who introduced the organisation and outlined the activities planned for the semester. Among the upcoming initiatives are leadership development programmes, volunteer projects, and community engagement efforts that involve both students and alumni.
The highlight of the evening was a sharing session by UPM alumni, who spoke about their experiences participating in international volunteer programmes. Their stories inspired the new members to become more involved in volunteerism and to contribute meaningfully to society.

The event not only strengthened the bond between alumni and new students but also fostered leadership values, social awareness, and the enduring spirit of “With Knowledge We Serve.”
