UPM LEGACY CARD MEETING STRENGTHENS ALUMNI ENGAGEMENT INITIATIVE

SERDANG, 11th July – The Centre for Alumni Relations, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), convened the UPM Legacy Card Meeting to discuss the implementation, development and continuous enhancement of the UPM Legacy Card initiative, aimed at strengthening long-term engagement between the University and its alumni community.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Fahmi Azar Mistar, Director of the Centre for Alumni Relations, UPM, together with representatives from the Information Development and Communication Centre (iDEC), Mr. Mohd Shafree Ahmad and Mr. Harun Jantrik, as well as officers and staff of the Centre for Alumni Relations, UPM.

Discussions focused on key aspects of the initiative, including system management, accessibility and proposed enhancements to improve the overall user experience for UPM Legacy Card holders. The meeting also explored value-added features and future improvements designed to increase the benefits and services available to alumni through the Legacy Card programme.

The meeting reflects UPM's ongoing commitment to strengthening alumni engagement by leveraging digital innovation and continuously enhancing services that foster stronger connections between the University and its graduates. Through strategic collaboration with relevant stakeholders, the University remains dedicated to delivering initiatives that are efficient, user-friendly and responsive to the evolving needs of its alumni community.

The Centre for Alumni Relations, UPM, hopes that the outcomes of the discussion will further reinforce the role of the UPM Legacy Card as an effective platform for sustaining meaningful relationships between alumni and their alma mater. This initiative is expected to contribute to the development of a more connected, engaged and supportive alumni network while advancing UPM's vision of lifelong alumni engagement and institutional excellence.
