SERDANG, 6 Jan – UPM International Alumni Chapter (UPMIAC) had conducted an official meeting with Alumni Relations Centre UPM (ARCUPM) at Bilik Menara Warisan Budi, ARCUPM.

The meeting was attended by the Director of ARCUPM, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Arba’ie Sujud, Deputy Director of ARCUPM, Fahmi Azar Mistar, President of UPMIAC, Muntasser Al Anbagi, and ARCUPM officers. Its agenda was to discuss future planning and obtain documents approval from previously proposed.  

Muntasser Al Anbagi took the opportunity to propose UPMIAC planning for 2023 in an effort to demonstrate and highlight the chapter’s visibility in contributing back to the university. One of the plans is to introduce Anugerah Emas Alumni Antarabangsa and fondly request collaboration with ARCUPM.   

Muntasser represents all members of UPMIAC in expressing utmost support and commitment in every programmes organised by the university and ARCUPM, particularly in alumni-related programmes.  

In addition, UPMIAC also intends to establish networking with other offices in optimising potential and contribution from alumni to alma mater, UPM International Centre (i-Putra), School of Graduate Studies, and Office of Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Student Affairs and Alumni).

ARCUPM as the liaison between alumni and the university in collaboration with UPM Alumni Association always welcome the return of alumni to alma mater. Their expertise is in demand to uphold the university’s reputation locally and globally.
