Tanjung Karang, 6 August 2025 – The UPM Alumni Relations Centre was honored to host three distinguished alumni during the Alumni Engagement Session held in Tanjung Karang on 6 August 2025.

Among the alumni present was Mr. Mohd Kamaruzihan Mesron, UPM Alumnus (Diploma in Agriculture – Class of 1990 & Bachelor of Agricultural Science – Class of 1994), who graciously shared his career journey. His session was filled with valuable insights, inspiring experiences, and practical advice that left a meaningful impact on UPM students in attendance.

Also joining the session was Tuan Haji Mat Amin Jaafar, Managing Director of Amco Niaga Sdn. Bhd. (UPM Alumnus 1994 & 2022). His remarkable achievements and perseverance served as a true motivation for the younger generation, with his sharing reflecting the spirit of Berilmu Berbakti – With Knowledge We Serve.

The session was further enriched by the presence of Prof. Dr. Sidek Ab Aziz from the Faculty of Educational Studies, UPM Alumnus Class of 2007. His thoughtful sharing, filled with experience, advice, and guidance, inspired students to broaden their perspectives, instilled confidence, and encouraged them to face the challenges of the future.

The experiences, achievements, and values shared by these alumni not only enhanced the engagement session but also created a lasting impression on all participants. Indeed, this gathering became a meaningful platform to strengthen the spirit of Berilmu Berbakti that continues to flourish within the UPM alumni community.
