SERDANG - Alumni and alma mater have their own roles and responsibilities in ensuring the university's aspiration in producing competent students.  

In supporting Alumni Relations Centre efforts in bringing alumni back to alma mater, various approaches were undertaken either through cash donations, in-kind, transfer of knowledge of their expertise. 

Alumni Relations Centre received a contribution (in-kind) of RM35,000.00 by Tone Wow which was handed over through Major Riad Datuk Abd Malek (Alumni Class 1995) for UPM students. The contribution of 1000 high-speed sim cards for the use of students who require the access to the internet devices for their learning process.  

This is one of the indications of the alumni solidarity in giving contributions thus bringing the university to another level of success. Every contribution by the alumni was a manifestation of the slogan ‘Kami Bangga Menjadi Alumni UPM’ and strengthens the ties between alumni and the university. 

The slogan 'Daripada Alumni Kepada UPM' continues to be enlivened with various contributions made in supporting the university's vision of becoming an internationally reputable university.
