BINTULU, 4 November – Universiti Putra Malaysia Kampus Bintulu (UPMKB) celebrates the graduates in the UPM 47th Convocation Ceremony Session 1. A total of 487 graduates are celebrated during the ceremony held at Dewan Sri Kenyalang UPM Campus Bintulu, Sarawak.

The 47th Convocation@UPMKB Agricultural Expo Festival was also held at UPMKB located at the Expo Site, Dewan Sri Kenyalang UPMKB to further enliven the convocation ceremony. Among the interesting activities at the 2023 Arts and Culture Budding Night is the Cultural Performance and Arts, drumming with a special appearance by Kumpulan Gendang Cenderawasih Miri and a performance by guest artist, Bob Yusof. The Expo Festival that starts on November 2 until November 5, 2023 also organizes various interesting activities such as flying fox, kayak, archery and there are also sales booths that make the 47th UPM Convocation Ceremony Session 1 at UPMKB more merrier.

His Royal Highness Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj Ibni Almarhum Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Alhaj who is also the Chancellor of UPM has awarded Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees to 9 graduates, Master's degrees to 12 graduates, Bachelor's degrees to 84 graduates and Diplomas to 382 graduates in various study programs.

Alumni Relations Centre UPM (ARCUPM) would like to congratulate the graduates who have successfully completed their studies at their respective levels of study. ARCUPM hopes that the graduates will become alumni who are always in close contact with their alma mater and return to contribute back in the future. Contributions can be given in various aspects such as finance, expertise, knowledge and also experience.
