Serdang, 25 May 2025, The Town Hall: Alumni – Beyond the Story programme was successfully held, featuring the inspiring journeys and real-life experiences of two distinguished alumni from Kolej Canselor who have achieved success in their respective careers. The event highlighted the personal and professional paths of guest panelists, Mr. Shahrulmizan Rahmat, a UPM alumnus of the 2006 and 2007 batches, who is currently the Managing Director of SMR Creations Sdn. Bhd. and a former President of the Sixth College Student Representative Council, as well as Mr. Mohamad Noor Rizal Jaafar, a 2012 UPM alumnus now serving as a Financial Consultant with Prudential and a former sepak takraw athlete representing Kolej Canselor.

The event was graced by the presence of honoured guests, Dr. Syed Agil Shekh Alsagoff, Principal of Kolej Canselor, and Associate Professor Dr. Siti Aqlima Ahmad, Director of the UPM Alumni Relations Centre. The programme was energetically moderated by Hadrzeen Fakhriy Fahsyeen Kamarul Shahrin, a first-year student of the Bachelor of Education in Malay Language programme from Kolej Canselor.

This session provided valuable inspiration and meaningful sharing for students, while also strengthening the bond between alumni and the college community. The alumni's return and their willingness to contribute through their stories added great value to the students’ character development and reinforced a sense of belonging within the campus community.
