SERDANG - The Special Alumni Forum Empowering UA Alumni which was broadcast on the facebook live platform and also the ZOOM application discussed the action and how alumni of public universities today can maximize and empower the role of UA alumni themselves.

The forum was attended by the Chairman of the USIM Alumni Association, Dr. Muhammad Iqmal Hisham Kamaruddin as moderator, Religious Corps of the Malaysian Armed Forces, LT. COL. Nadzri Musnman (UnisSZa Alumni), Founder of Ab Food Asia Sdn Bhd, Muhammad Zulfaqar Rosli (USIM Alumni) and Chief Operating Officer of UOR Food Industries Sdn Bhd (UMS Alumni).

This forum was held to become meaningful and merial for the celebration of Alumni Day of Public University 2023. July 18 has already been gazetted as UA Alumni Day as per the approval of the establishment of the Public University Alumni Council by the Secretariat Meeting of the Deputy Vice Chancellors HEPA bil 2/2020 at the University of Malaya.

From that date, every July 18 will be celebrated as UA Alumni Day and various activities and programs will be held to celebrate and as a sign of solidarity of the alumni to their respective universities.

As a former student who has received a lot of benefits from his alma mater, that good service should be reciprocated and respected by giving back and contributing to his alma mater.

The concerns of these alumni will provide many benefits to the University, especially to the students. Together we become alumni who are concerned for the sustainability of the development of higher education in the country.
