Kangar, 30 April 2025, The Alumni Relations Centre of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) extends its heartfelt appreciation to the Teacher Education Institute, Perlis Campus (IPGK Perlis), for graciously hosting a benchmarking visit from the UPM Alumni Relations Centre. The visit was attended by Associate Professor Dr. Siti Aqlima Ahmad, Director of the Alumni Relations Centre, and led by IPGK Director, Mr. Amran Mahadi, along with several education service officers who are also proud alumni of UPM.

This engagement session served as a meaningful platform to strengthen ties between alumni and their alma mater, while also exploring strategic collaboration opportunities that can positively impact the character development and professionalism of alumni. Discussions focused on enhancing alumni networks through joint initiatives, updating alumni databases, and identifying institutional collaboration opportunities to reinforce UPM’s community engagement more holistically and competitively.

The UPM Alumni Relations Centre sincerely thanks IPGK Perlis for selecting UPM as a benchmarking destination and looks forward to the continued growth of this synergy for the mutual advancement of the national education agenda.
