Langkawi, 25 October – The UPM Serdang Angels Rugby Team took part in the Langkawi International 7’s 2025 Tournament, held at the Langkawi Development Authority (LADA) Sports Complex and organised by the Langkawi Darul Aman Rugby Academy (ARDA). The tournament brought together teams from various institutions and clubs, both local and international.

In conjunction with the event, the Alumni Relations Centre of Universiti Putra Malaysia (ARCUPM) took the opportunity to conduct an alumni engagement session with UPM alumni who were involved in the tournament as referees and team managers.

The session not only served as a platform to reconnect with alumni but also to strengthen professional and personal ties through the spirit of sportsmanship. This initiative reflects ARCUPM’s ongoing commitment to fostering alumni engagement across diverse fields, including sports leadership and team management.

Those who were involved in the tournament include:

ARCUPM extends its deepest appreciation to all alumni for their continuous commitment and active involvement in supporting UPM’s initiatives. Their presence not only promotes the spirit of sports within the UPM community but also reinforces the values of unity and With Knowledge We Serve — a defining ethos of the UPM alumni family.
