SERDANG, 29 September – The Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry of Kuala Lumpur & Selangor (KLSCCCI) has held a clothing donation session for 30 selected students from Kolej Sultan Alaeddin Suleiman Shah (KOSASS). A simple ceremony for the session is held at 2.30 PM at Balai Minda KOSASS with collaboration with Alumni Relations Centre (ARCUPM).

The symbolic handing over of the donation was done by the Chairman of the KLSCCCI National Unity Committee, Datuk Wira Richard Lau Chi Chiang and the Principal of KOSASS, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohd Mursyid bin Arshad. A souvenir from ARCUPM was also given to Datuk Wira Richard Lau by the Deputy Director of ARCUPM, Mr. Fahmi Azar Mistar. 

ARCUPM has interviewed two students who are selected to receive the donation, one of them is Muhammad Farhan from School of Business and Economics. He has expressed feeling moved and honored by the donation given. According to him, it is not easy to get a chance to work with a big name like this and for him, programs like this show the community and Alumni Relations Centre’s consideration for students’ needs.

Siti Nur Aisyah from Faculty of Educational Studies says, as part of the newly appointed MPKs (College Representative Council), a chance to work with a big name is a new experience for them. They also expressed their gratitude to Datuk Wira Richard Lau for the donation given and to ARCUPM for making sure the ceremony is a success.

ARCUPM is honored to be involved in this program. It is hoped the donation will give motivation to students to continue to study hard and be devoted to the nation and country in line with UPM's motto, "Knowledgeable, Devoted".
