SERDANG, 11th March 2026—The Semarak Ramadan Gotong-Royong Bubur Lambuk Programme was successfully held at the ground floor of the TNCPI Office building (rear parking area), in collaboration with and co-sponsored by the Kelab Sukan & Kebajikan (KSK) Pejabat TNCPI, Pusat Jaminan Kualiti Putra Business School, Pusat Perhubungan Alumni UPM, and Persatuan Alumni UPM. The programme was organised to foster the spirit of Ramadan through community engagement and volunteerism, while strengthening relationships among staff from various departments. It also aimed to encourage teamwork and promote the tradition of gotong-royong within the university community.

The programme began at 9:00 a.m., with staff gathering at the designated location to prepare the ingredients and organise tasks. Participants worked collaboratively, with one group preparing raw ingredients while another handled the setup of cooking equipment and utensils.

As the programme progressed, staff from each centre took turns cooking and stirring the bubur lambuk under the guidance of a lead cook, who oversaw the process while engaging with participants to ensure the dish was prepared properly.

The collective effort in preparing the bubur lambuk provided an opportunity to strengthen bonds among departments. Staff from different centres worked hand in hand—from ingredient preparation to cooking and packaging—demonstrating strong cooperation and unity. Once ready, the bubur lambuk was carefully packed and distributed to staff members and visitors around the campus as a gesture of sharing and appreciation during the holy month of Ramadan.

Overall, the Semarak Ramadan Gotong-Royong Bubur Lambuk Programme marked a meaningful and memorable occasion for all participating organisations. Despite its simple concept, the programme successfully uplifted the spirit of Ramadan and reinforced a sense of togetherness among participants, contributing to its overall success.
