Serdang, 20 June 2025. The Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) community actively took part in the Putra Sihat Series 2: 10,000 Steps UPM programme, even with light rain. YBhg. Dato' Prof. Ir. Dr. Ahmad Farhan Mohd Sadullah, Vice-Chancellor of UPM, attended the event and joined participants on the walking trail. The programme received strong support from UPM’s directors, deans, staff, and students, who completed a 10,000-step route that started and ended at the KOSASS parking area.

The scenic path included several well-known campus spots such as Bukit Ekspo, Jalan Satelit, Jalan Maklumat, and Kolej Pendeta Za’ba. The enthusiasm for wellness and healthy living shone through during the event. The first 700 participants received special souvenirs from the organisers to recognise their participation and excitement.

The UPM Alumni Relations Centre and co-organisers thank all participants for their support and positive energy. The success of this programme shows that a healthy lifestyle can be nurtured through teamwork, unity, and community awareness within the university. Let’s continue walking towards a healthier lifestyle, and see you in the next series of Putra Sihat!
