Serdang, 13 January 2026 – The Putra Lead Module Development Meeting for Module 7: Sustainable Generation and Funding was held to discuss the development, enhancement, and strategic direction of the module to ensure its continued relevance and alignment with the current needs of Universiti Putra Malaysia. The meeting forms part of the university’s ongoing efforts to strengthen student leadership development modules that are comprehensive and sustainable in nature.

The meeting brought together representatives from various faculties and centres, reflecting a collaborative approach to enhancing the module’s content. Among those involved in the discussions were Mr Fahmi Azar Mistar, Director of the Universiti Putra Malaysia Alumni Relations Centre, Ms Nik Hafzaini Nik Hassan from the Academic Division, Mr Syafiq Hariz Mohd Hanafiah from the Faculty of Science, Ms Nur Suhaila Juharei from the Centre for Entrepreneurship and Management, Ms Aida Fitri Peli from the Faculty of Engineering, and Mr Mohd Syawal Sauti from the Chancellor Residential College.


Throughout the meeting, discussions focused on reviewing existing content, proposing improvements, and outlining the strategic direction of Module 7, which emphasises resource generation and sustainable funding in the implementation of student leadership programmes. This focus aligns with the university’s aspiration to produce resilient graduates who are strategic thinkers and capable of managing resources effectively.
The outcomes of the discussion are expected to further strengthen the Putra Lead Module as a holistic and high-impact leadership development platform, contributing to the development of Universiti Putra Malaysia graduates who are competitive and well-prepared to face future challenges.
