Putrajaya, January 13th – The first Public University Alumni Council (MALUMNI) Meeting of 2025 was successfully convened today at the Ibn Hazm 1 Meeting Room, Student Affairs Division, Department of Higher Education, Putrajaya.

The meeting covered several key agendas, including the confirmation of previous meeting minutes, financial reports, proposal presentations, and programme papers. Discussions were both productive and forward-looking, with a strong emphasis on strategic initiatives to strengthen the role of alumni in contributing to the advancement of higher education in Malaysia.

Beyond addressing administrative matters, the meeting also provided a platform for members to propose new initiatives and programmes aimed at enhancing engagement between alumni and higher education institutions. These efforts are expected to foster a more dynamic and far-reaching alumni network, creating greater opportunities for collaboration and support.

The commitment demonstrated by MALUMNI members in attendance reflects a shared dedication to driving the excellence of Malaysia’s public universities and ensuring that alumni continue to play an integral role in shaping the future of higher education.
