Serdang, 5 November – The Universiti Putra Malaysia Alumni Association (PAUPM) continues to strengthen its commitment to empowering alumni networks and well-being through a strategic collaboration with EON Berhad.

This collaboration aims to provide tangible benefits to UPM alumni, particularly recent graduates, by helping them start their post-university journey more comfortably. Through this partnership, EON Berhad offers exclusive discounts and special promotions on PROTON vehicles including the Proton Saga, Iriz, and Persona specially for UPM alumnus.

Chief Operating Officer of EON Berhad, Mr. Hazwan Yahya, who is also a UPM alumnus from the Class of 2001, shared that this initiative represents more than just a commercial effort; it is a meaningful gesture of appreciation towards his alma mater.

The meet & greet session held in conjunction with the collaboration was attended by PAUPM President, Mr. Mohd Norashedy Ab Rashid, Deputy President, Mr. Shahrudin Mahadi, and PAUPM Secretary-General, Tuan Haji Mat Amin Jaafar. Also present to show support were UPM Board of Directors (Alumni Representative), Mr. Mohamad Sabri Mohamad Salleh, and Director of the UPM Alumni Relations Centre (ARCUPM), Mr. Fahmi Azar Mistar.
