Serdang, 19 July 2025 – The Poetry Recital Competition for UPM Foundation Students took place at Menara Putra, Warisan Budi UPM, filled with passion, creativity, and a deep appreciation for the art of literature.



The UPM Alumni Relations Centre (ARCUPM) extends its highest gratitude to the Corporate Strategy and Communications Office (PSPK UPM) for their support in recording and documenting the event, as well as sincere thanks to all committee members who worked tirelessly to ensure its smooth execution.



Most importantly, heartfelt congratulations go to the participants – UPM Foundation students, who are also future alumni of UPM – for delivering moving and spirited recitations of the poem Ke Sarang Cenderawasih. Their courage, talent, and enthusiasm are truly commendable and serve as a source of pride for the university.

The recital recordings will be uploaded on UPM’s official TikTok account, where the participant with the highest number of views will be crowned the winner. The winner will also earn the opportunity to perform at the UPM Alumni Poetry Night and receive a special prize.

May this passion for poetry continue to flourish among UPM’s young community, nurturing a strong legacy of arts and culture within the university.
