SERDANG, 30th March 2026–The Nostalgia Pertemuan 2026: Kisah Lama, Cerita Baharu programme was successfully held at the parking compound of the women’s block, Kolej 10, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). The programme was organised to gather UPM alumni, particularly those who had previously resided in Kolej 11, providing them with an opportunity to reconnect and reminisce about their shared university experiences.

The event was designed as an intimate and exclusive gathering, allowing alumni to attend with their families while sharing cherished memories from their younger days. Many attendees revisited meaningful moments from their time on campus, recalling both the challenges and joys that shaped their journey as students.

Held in conjunction with the festive season, the Hari Raya celebration further enlivened the atmosphere, filling the event with warmth, laughter, and a strong sense of togetherness among the attendees.

The programme was further graced by the presence of Dato’ Seri Amiruddin Shari, Menteri Besar of Selangor and a UPM alumnus from the Class of 2002, as well as Dato’ Nurulhidayah Ahmad Zaid, also an alumna from the Class of 2002. Their presence added significance to the occasion, as both distinguished guests conveyed their well wishes and emphasised the importance of preserving alumni connections and shared memories.

Overall, the Nostalgia Pertemuan 2026: Kisah Lama, Cerita Baharu event successfully achieved its objective of strengthening alumni engagement and fostering a sense of belonging within the UPM community. The event served as a meaningful platform for alumni to reconnect, reflect on their past, and celebrate the enduring bonds formed during their time at the university.
