Serdang,  10 June 2025, In conjunction with the National Food Security Conference 2025, the UPM Alumni Relations Centre expressed its appreciation to UPM alumni who are actively contributing to the nation’s agri-food sector. Their participation in this conference not only reflects a strong commitment to the national food security agenda but also highlights the significant contributions of UPM alumni in this strategic area.

Among the alumni present were Mr. Rozaidi Sharee, a 1986 graduate of UPM Bintulu Campus, who currently serves as Director of the Regional Management Division at the Muda Agricultural Development Authority (MADA); Mr. Mohd Hafizi Zakaria, a 2006 alumnus, who is now the Head of the Integrity Unit at MADA; Ms. Siti Noraini Ahmad, a 2012 graduate, serving as an Agricultural Officer; and Mr. Mohd Nizar Che Jamil, from the 2015 cohort, who is also an Agricultural Officer at MADA Headquarters.

The UPM Alumni Relations Centre takes great pride in the achievements and dedication of these distinguished alumni. Their active involvement in the conference serves as a testament to UPM's continued impact on national development through its alumni. It is hoped that their commitment will inspire current students and fellow alumni to continue contributing to the advancement and well-being of the nation.
