SERDANG, 6 Sept - MEKAR Program Series 15 meeting took place at the Alumni Relations Center, Universiti Putra Malaysia (ARCUPM) chaired by Mrs. Aida Fitri Peli, ARCUPM Assistant Registrar.

This meeting was attended by ARCUPM officers and staff who are also permanent committee members of the MEKAR program. The meeting went smoothly with the division of duties to each committee member. As an effort to complete and continue this program, the MEKAR committee gathered and met to organize and coordinate their respective tasks for the smooth running of the program.

The main objective of this meeting is to update all committee members on the program's progress, and all committee members must be informed of their respective responsibilities in order for the program to be launched in the future. The Mekar Series 15 program was originally scheduled for October 2023, however it was moved to December 2023.

In addition, there was also a discussion for the Mekar 14 program which took place earlier on September 21, 2023. All committee members took note and prepared to launch this program, which will be held at the Dewan Putra Pusat Pusat Kokurikulum Pembangunan Pelajar (PKPP) of UPM and involve 38 alumni from the Science Diploma with Education 1973/74.

The (MEKAR) program offers a reunion for UPM alumni groups from diverse classes, programs, and batches. This program provides a thousand meanings to alumni who have not seen each other in a long time and can heal their longing for the place where they obtained knowledge together. Furthermore, this program is considered a platform for alumni to gather and discuss how they may collectively contribute to UPM.

ARCUPM invites the'return' of alumni who wish to hold a reunion or reunion that will rekindle old memories and deepen connections.
