Serdang, February 14th – The Jam Menara Putra Warisan Budi UPM meeting was held to discuss strategies and initiatives for securing funding to support the development of UPM’s Clock Tower, a historic symbol of the university’s heritage and pride. Discussions focused on strengthening the vision and objectives of preserving and enhancing this iconic structure.
Meanwhile, the Karnival Perpaduan UPM meeting centered on planning a series of engaging activities for the upcoming event, aimed at fostering stronger relationships between alumni, UPM retirees, and the general public. The carnival also serves as a platform for alumni and retirees to reconnect with their alma mater and rekindle their bonds with UPM.

The meeting brought together key representatives from Persatuan Al-Putra, the UPM Alumni Association, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Student Affairs and Alumni) Office, the Centre for Entrepreneurial Development and Graduate Employability (CEM) UPM, and the Alumni Relations Centre (ARCUPM).
Among the notable attendees were YBhg. Tan Sri Datuk Seri (Dr.) Hj. Mazlan bin Lazim, Dato’ Raihan Shariff, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hizmawati Madzin and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Siti Aqlima Ahmad, who provided valuable insights to ensure the success of both initiatives.
