Serdang, September 8 – The Alumni Relations Centre (ARCUPM), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), organized a training session on the Alumni Information System (AIS) & Alumni Tracing and Networking Management aimed at enhancing staff understanding and skills in utilizing AIS as the primary platform for systematic alumni data management.
The session was conducted by two experienced officers, namely Ms. Nor Hayati binti Mohamad Darus (Administrative Officer, Centre for Industry Relations and Networking) and Ms. Aida Fitri binti Peli (Administrative Officer, Faculty of Engineering).
Through this training, ARCUPM staff were exposed to best practices in alumni tracing, mapping, and relationship management. These approaches are expected to strengthen strategic collaborations between alumni and the university, in line with efforts to position alumni as strategic partners in UPM’s development.

Furthermore, the training is anticipated to improve the effectiveness of information delivery, broaden alumni outreach, and contribute to building a more sustainable, inclusive, and competitive alumni ecosystem in the future.
