SERDANG, 19 October – An interview with Dato’ Zulkiflee Othman, former Bursar of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) 2003 - 2021 is held at Bilik Menara Warisan Budi, Alumni Relations Centre UPM (ARCUPM). This interview is to collect information and materials regarding Warisan Budi Clock Tower for the production of the Coffee Table Book which is currently in the writing process.

The book will be published along with the launching of Warisan Budi Clock Tower which is expected to be fully done in April 2024.

Dato’ Zulkiflee is one of the people that are involved from the beginning of the suggestion process of the Warisan Budi Clock Tower project because the early planning and initial idea that was discussed in 2006 was when he was the Bursar of UPM.

Many have been shared by him, especially regarding the financial status during the time that may have been one of the challenges in the construction project of Warisan Budi Clock Tower. He also shares how he faced the problems and challenges from the time until this very day the construction of Warisan Budi Clock Tower will finally start. His sharing would be a great reference that can be used as an example for better planning in the future.

He calls for alumni to keep donating as their donations not only for before and during the construction, but more importantly after Warisan Budi Clock Tower is built as the pride of UPM and its people.

He also hopes the construction of Warisan Budi Clock Tower will be able to get over one phase which is the building phase with success and he wishes for this project to go smoothly as planned.

As one of the people who are involved in the project of Warisan Budi Clock Tower from the very beginning, he is proud of how the entirety of UPM is taking part in making sure the project will come true.

“Congratulations to everyone in UPM and Alumni Relations Centre UPM in taking the responsibility to make sure  this project will be a success. Warisan Budi Clock Tower is a symbol of our unity as together we carry the name of UPM to be known all over the country,” he said, concluding the interview.
