Serdang 27 March 2025, In the spirit of compassion and unity during the holy month of Ramadan, the UPM Alumni Association, in collaboration with the Faculty of Food Science and Technology and the UPM Alumni Relations Centre, proudly presented a charitable donation to the first recipient, Puan Afidah binti Abu Talib. Puan Afidah is a former Ph.D. graduate in Food Technology who completed her studies in 2024. She currently resides in Seri Kembangan, Selangor, with her husband and a child with disabilities. In addition, she is bravely battling Multiple Sclerosis, an autoimmune neurological disorder that affects the central nervous system.

The contribution was presented by Dr. Ibrahim Mohamed, Secretary-General of the UPM Alumni Association, accompanied by Associate Professor Dr. Siti Aqlima Ahmad, Director of the UPM Alumni Relations Centre, along with Dr. Siti Fatimah Mohamad and Dr. Aliah Zannierah Mohsin from the Faculty of Food Science and Technology, UPM.

This donation was part of the funds raised during the UPM Alumni Iftar event held on 22 March 2025 at L’Apprenti & Deli Restaurant, UPM. We extend our deepest appreciation to all generous donors who contributed and helped spread the spirit of giving and solidarity throughout this blessed month.
