SERDANG, 12 October - The inaugural Chapter Student Ambassador (CSA) meeting took place at the UPM Menara Jam Warisan Budi Meeting Room, UPM Alumni Relations Center (ARCUPM). The presence of students was warmly welcomed by ARCUPM staff and officers who are also CSA facilitators.
This first meeting included first-year students from the 2023/2024 session as well as senior students who are still interested in this club under the guidance of ARCUPM to inform new students about what CSA is and the benefits of participating in CSA. Furthermore, this meeting will provide an initial review of the program and activities that will be carried out, as well as prepare the students both mentally and physically.
ARCUPM founded the Chapter Student Ambassador (CSA) group to help students, particularly new students, develop communication, leadership, and volunteering abilities. These abilities are necessary for producing quality graduates for the country, race, and religion. This club also fosters strong bonds between students and alumni.
Puan Aida Fitri, ARCUPM Assistant Registrar in the capacity of CSA Monitoring Officer, and a few ARCUPM employees appointed as CSA Facilitators also participated at this meeting. After extending a warm welcome, Mrs. Aida Fitri turned the floor over to Mr. Mohamad Norfarhan, the CSA Coordinator, and it could proceed to the following topic on the agenda.
During this meeting, members of the highest student committee responsible for CSA were elected alongside "Ice Breaking" among participants and facilitators. With this role, their involvement and leadership potential can be explored.
ARCUPM congratulates the students on their successful CSA club membership. After participating in activities with UPM alumni, ARCUPM also hopes that students will continue forward to become successful graduates and alumni who consistently give back to their alma mater.
