Cyberjaya, October 3 – The Malay Vehicle Importers and Traders Association of Malaysia (PEKEMA) has launched the PEKEMA Foundation Scholarship Program, aimed at supporting academically outstanding students from the B40 group, enabling them to pursue undergraduate studies.
This year, the PEKEMA Foundation will award a scholarship worth RM30,000, covering the full cost of a four-year degree at UPM, to one deserving student.
The President of PEKEMA, YBhg. Datuk Haji Mohamed Nazari Bin Noordin, presented a symbolic cheque for the scholarship to the Director of the UPM Alumni Relations Centre, Associate Prof. Dr. Siti Aqlima Ahmad, in the presence of PEKEMA Exco members. Also attending the event were the Vice President of PEKEMA, Dato’ Hj Wan Sazrudeen Bin Dato’ Hj Wan Zaid, Vice President YM Raja Petra Marudin Bin Raja Nordin, Honorary Secretary Encik Ahmad Faresh Bin Ahmad Zahid, and Encik Mohd Hafiz Bin Abdul Rashid from the Customs & Logistics Relations Bureau.
We hope that this scholarship will provide vital support to students in need and inspire them to achieve even greater success.
