Serdang, 22 October – The Cyperus 92’ (4.0) Scholarship Interview was successfully conducted online via Google Meet on 22 October 2025. The programme is an initiative by the Cyperus 92’ alumni group, aimed at supporting outstanding yet financially challenged students from the Diploma in Agriculture, Faculty of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences, Universiti Putra Malaysia Bintulu Campus (UPMKB) in continuing their studies.

The interview session was led by a panel comprising Mr. Fahmi Azar Mistar, Director of the UPM Alumni Relations Centre (ARCUPM) as the Head of Panel; Tuan Haji Mat Razi Abdullah, Deputy Registrar of the UPM Foundation Centre and Scholarship Sponsor; Mr. Mohd Nazri bin Md Yasin, Chief Administration Officer of the Admission and Academic Governance Division; Ms. Sharinah binti Muztaba, Accountant at the UPM Bintulu Campus Finance Division; Mr. Mohamad Syukri bin Mohamad Adnan, Chief Administrator of the Student Management Office, UPM Bintulu Campus; and Dr. Muhammad Mu’az Mahmud, Deputy Director of ARCUPM.

The interview session was efficiently coordinated by Mr. Aiman Fikri Mohd Aris Fadzilah, who served as the session’s secretariat to ensure a smooth and organised selection process. The panel assessed not only the students’ academic performance but also their leadership potential, personal values, and motivation to succeed.

According to Mr. Fahmi Azar Mistar, this scholarship initiative reflects the alumni’s strong sense of care and commitment towards UPM students, embodying the spirit of giving back to the alma mater. He expressed appreciation to the Cyperus 92’ alumni group for their dedication to uplifting students through both financial and moral support.
