SERDANG – Showcase Budaya Alumni Antarabangsa program is held from 21 October to 23 October 2023. This program involves students from Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 (MAN1) Pekan Baru, Indonesia to a cross-culture visit in Putrajaya and Kuala Lumpur. The group is also joined by a few teachers from MAN1.

The program has runned smoothly with the cooperation with UPM Alumni 2006, Mr. Rizky Gushandra or more known as Pak Rizky. As UPM alumni, Pak Rizky has given early exposure to the students from MAN1 of the advantages and opportunities to further their studies at university level and choose UPM as their destination.

This visit aims to showcase the culture in Malaysia. The students are also brought along to see the campus life in UPM. One of the campus areas they get to visit are UPM Big Hall, UPM Sultan Abdul Samad Library and Canselori Putra UPM.

This program also collaborates with members of Chapter Student Ambassador (CSA) 2023/2024 and CSA committee members. CSA is a program that trains students to develop their potential, especially in managing events and ceremonies.

This club that is supervised and handled by Alumni Relations Centre UPM (ARCUPM) serves the purpose to train students to become high quality graduates and bear the good name of UPM when they graduate. CSA gives opportunities to students to be able to connect directly with alumni to get the information regarding scholarships from alumni.

ARCUPM would like to express our highest gratitude to the alumni who contribute back to the alma mater regardless of the events or platforms. With the spirit of ‘We Love UPM’ and ‘We are Proud to be UPM Alumni’ has given a deep meaning and has brought them back to the alma mater and together to contribute their time and energy for the sake of UPM and its community.
