SERDANG, 10 April 2026— A small gathering was successfully held at Bilik Menara Warisan Budi to appreciate a presentation from the Student Management Department, UPMS, Ms. Azila Binti Kamarjaman. Her purpose of a week-training is to learn how Alumni Relation Centres UPM (ARCUPM) manages and works in bridging the alumni and the institution regardless of generation.
Her purpose did not appear to be empty but rather filled with hope and UPMS’s faith in her hands. She spent less than a week studying how each department in ARCUPM works simultaneously well. Furthermore, she hid her struggle with determination and her dedication was managed to be proven through her proactive involvement and open-mindedness.
Throughout the gathering at Menara Warisan Budi room, the ARCUPM staff was palpable in welcoming her throughout a week of training. The staff welcomed her into learning the culture, the history and management of the relationship of alumni and UPM itself. Azila, who has been working for Universiti Putra Malaysia outlet in Bintulu, Sarawak, said that the training journey at ARCUPM was indeed joyful and welcoming despite knowing it would be challenging. She hoped to connect and maintain the professional relation among the ARCUPM staff in the future as that would be beneficial for both UPM and UPMS as a whole.
Overall, the programme concluded with the presentation of a token of appreciation to Ms. Azila in recognition of her efforts and commitment. The initiative reflects ARCUPM’s ongoing commitment to knowledge sharing and strengthening institutional collaboration within the UPM community.
