Serdang, 25 February 2026 – Zulkifli Suara, an alumnus of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Class of 1997, has been appointed as Chief Conservator of Forests (CCF) at the Jabatan Perhutanan Sabah effective 25 February 2026.

The appointment recognises his leadership, expertise and dedication in the field of forestry and natural resource management. The role plays a crucial part in strengthening forest conservation efforts and promoting environmental sustainability for future generations.
