Cyberjaya, January 28th - The Alumni Relations Centre (ARCUPM) extends its heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the Yayasan PEKEMA Scholarship interview session held today.

Four bachelor’s degree students from the School of Business and Economics (SPE) attended the interview, accompanied by panelists from ARCUPM, the Student Affairs and Alumni Division, the Bursar's Office and UPM’s academic division. Among the panelists were Associate Professor Dr. Siti Aqlima Ahmad, Director of ARCUPM; Associate Professor Dr. Mohd Mokrish Md Ajat, Deputy Director of ARCUPM; En. Mohd Hafiz Abdul Rashid and Tuan Haji Ahmad Azmi Noordin, representatives from PEKEMA, alongside other esteemed representatives from both PEKEMA and UPM.

The Yayasan PEKEMA Scholarship is dedicated to supporting outstanding students from financially disadvantaged backgrounds, particularly those from the B40 and asnaf communities. Beyond financial assistance, recipients are encouraged to actively engage in co-curricular activities throughout their academic journey at UPM, fostering a well-rounded university experience.

Through this initiative, UPM students not only receive financial aid but also gain motivation to excel academically and personally. ARCUPM fully supports the noble contributions of alumni in providing financial assistance, alleviating students’ financial burdens, and empowering them to reach their full potential.

May this act of generosity serve as a catalyst for students to remain steadfast in their pursuit of success, bringing pride to their families, alma mater, and the wider community.
