SERDANG - DK Aniisah Khoirunnisaa’ PG Kamaluddin, a graduate from Bachelor of Agricultural Science Class 2023 has been named as the 20th receiver of Pak Rashid Foundation Gold Medal during the 47th UPM Convocation Ceremony.

Thus far, there are a sum of 19 notable students that have been selected as the receivers of one of the university’s main awards for every convocation conference and during the 47th Convocation Ceremony, DK Aniisah is awarded with the Pak Rashid Foundation Gold Medal.

On 13th March 2003, UPM approved the proposal to establish Pak Rashid Foundation Gold Medal as a university level award to pay homage to the late Pak Rashid for his continuous service and support for UPM.

This award is given to notable students who fulfill the criteria according to the consideration of the University Prize Committee. Starting from alumni session 2002 up to session 2023, there are 20 students and graduates that have been awarded with university main awards as notable students through Pak Rashid Foundation Gold Medal.

“I am grateful to all the selection committee and to Pak Rashid Foundation for this meaningful award. After 4 years of my studies, today I have been awarded as one of the recipients of this main prize and it gives me a plus point which will definitely help me in exploring a new world out there. In this given opportunity. I would like to thank Alumni Relations Centre as the main secretariat for Pak Rashid Foundation,” DK Aniisah said.

Prof. Datin Dr. Kalthun Hashim, as Non Ex-Officio for the Pak Rashid Foundation is also present to meet the award recipients and give souvenirs along with words of encouragement for them.

The award recipients are given a gold medal, a check worth RM3000.00 and a certificate of the list of recipients. Alumni Relations Center wishes DK Aniisah the best of luck in whatever field she will venture into and welcomes her to be back to the alma mater as a UPM Alumni.
