SERDANG, 12 March 2026 – The Universiti Putra Malaysia Alumni Relations Centre (ARCUPM) presented Aidilfitri tokens of appreciation to the Chairman of the University Board of Directors and members of the University Management Committee as a gesture of gratitude for their continuous support and cooperation.

The initiative was held in conjunction with the blessings of the Ramadan month and the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration, reflecting ARCUPM’s appreciation for the strong commitment shown by the university’s top management in supporting alumni initiatives and institutional development.

The tokens were presented by ARCUPM Director, Mr. Fahmi Azar Mistar, to the Chairman of the University Board of Directors, along with members of the University Management Committee, including YBhg. Dato’ Sri Jailani Johari and other senior university leaders.

The presentation took place during the UPM Food Security Action Plan Review Workshop, which gathered key members of the university’s leadership. The tokens included festive greeting cards and traditional Hari Raya cookies as a symbol of appreciation and remembrance in conjunction with the Aidilfitri celebration.

According to ARCUPM, the gesture not only served as a token of appreciation but also aimed to strengthen ties between the university’s management and the alumni community. Such close relationships are essential in ensuring continued support for various university programmes and development initiatives.

In addition, ARCUPM took the opportunity to extend its Hari Raya Aidilfitri greetings and seek forgiveness to the Chairman of the University Board of Directors and all members of the University Management Committee.

Overall, the initiative reflects ARCUPM’s commitment to fostering strong strategic relationships with the university’s leadership, in line with supporting the continuous achievement of Universiti Putra Malaysia’s vision and mission.
