Serdang, September 27 - The 54th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Universiti Putra Malaysia Alumni Association (PAUPM) 2025 successfully gathered UPM alumni in a meaningful event heald at the Rashdan Baba Auditorium Level 3 Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation) Building, UPM.

The programme which took place on Saturday commenced at 9.00 a.m. with an inspiring keynote address delivered by UPM Vice- Chancellor, YBhg. Dato, Prof. Ir.Dr.Ahmad Farhan Mohd Sadullah, titled “UPM Alumni: Ever Knowledgeable, Ever Serving.” In his speech, he shared the university’s vision and aspirations while also announcing several exclusive offers for UPM alumni as a gesture of appreciation and continued support for the alumni community.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of distinguished guests, including:

• YBrs. Mr. Mohamad Sabrie Mohamad Salleh, Member of the UPM Board of Directors | UPM Alumni Class of 2009
• YBhg. Prof. Dr. Arifin Abdu, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Student Affairs and Alumni) | UPM Alumni Class of 2002 & 2005
• YBrs. Mr. Fahmi Azar Mistar, Director, UPM Alumni Relations Centre (ARCUPM) | UPM Alumni Class of 1999 & 2010
• YAM. Dato’ Seri DiRaja Syed Razlan Jamalullail, Former President of PAUPM | UPM Alumni Class of 1972
• YBrs. Dato’ Syed Abdul Rahman, Deputy President of PAUPM | UPM Alumni Class of 1970

More than a formal assembly, this AGM served as a meaningful gathering for alumni across generations to reconnect, strengthen relationships, and foster unity as members of the UPM family.

Overall, the event reflected PAUPM’s ongoing commitment to empowering alumni as strategic partners of the university, in line with the theme “UPM Alumni: Ever Knowledgeable, Ever Serving.” The participation and unwavering support of UPM alumni continue to exemplify their dedication to the excellence and legacy of their beloved alma mater.
