SERDANG, 10 May 2026 — The AGRIMA 40-Year Reunion Ceremony was successfully held in a lively and meaningful atmosphere at Astana Putra, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), bringing together alumni of the Faculty of Agriculture to reconnect and celebrate decades of friendship and shared memories.
The programme, which took place from 10.00 a.m. to 2.30 p.m., served as a special platform for alumni from the 1983–1986 cohort to reunite, reminisce about their university days, and strengthen ties that have remained meaningful since their graduation in 1986. The reunion reflected the enduring relationship between alumni and their alma mater, while fostering a spirit of togetherness among former students of the faculty.

Among those present were AGRIMA Chairman and Faculty of Agriculture alumnus from the class of 1986, Mr. Muhammad Hussain Abu Bakar, as well as the Deputy Director of the Universiti Putra Malaysia Alumni Relations Centre (ARCUPM), Dr. Muhammad Mu’az Mahmud. Their presence further enlivened the gathering and highlighted the importance of maintaining strong alumni engagement within the university community.
Throughout the programme, alumni had the opportunity to reconnect with former classmates, exchange experiences, and revisit memories from their time as students at UPM. The nostalgic atmosphere not only revived cherished moments from the past but also reinforced the strong sense of belonging shared among AGRIMA alumni.

Overall, the reunion symbolised the strength and continuity of alumni relationships with UPM. It is hoped that the spirit of camaraderie and support fostered through programmes such as this will continue to inspire future generations of alumni to remain connected and contribute meaningfully to the university and society.
