Serdang, 8 August 2025 - Alumni Poetry Night 2025 was not only a celebration of art and culture, but also a testament to the unwavering support of alumni and strategic partners in uplifting arts, culture, and higher education. The nostalgic evening witnessed contributions exceeding RM180,000 in support of the Menara Putra Warisan Budi Project and various alumni initiatives.

The main contributions were as follows:

• Persatuan Alumni PALAPES U-PUTRA (AL-PUTRA)
  Presented by Tan Sri Datuk Seri Dr. Mazlan Lazim (UPM Alumni 1985 & 1994) — RM10,000 for the Menara Putra Warisan Budi Fund.
  
  

• Centre for Endowment, Zakat and Waqf Management (WAZAN) UPM
  Represented by Tuan Haji Haris Dahlan — RM20,000 for the Menara Putra Warisan Budi Fund & alumni dinner.
  
  

• RJH Consultant & Services Sdn. Bhd.
  Presented by Mr. Hafiz Abdul Rashid (UPM Alumni 2000, Kolej Tun Dr. Ismail) — RM50,000 for the Menara Putra Warisan Budi Fund & alumni activities.
  
  

• Usaha Jana Sdn. Bhd.
  Presented by Mr. Mohd Norashedy Ab Rashid (UPM Alumni 1999 & 2004, Kolej Tun Dr. Ismail) — RM100,000 for the Menara Putra Warisan Budi Fund, LED screen sponsorship & stage lighting system for MATNA 2025.

The mock cheques were received by YBhg. Dato’ Prof. Ir. Dr. Ahmad Farhan Mohd Sadullah, Vice-Chancellor of UPM, together with Mr. Fahmi Azar Mistar, Director of the Alumni Relations Centre (ARCUPM).

These contributions are more than just numbers — they are a reflection of love, trust, and the strong commitment of alumni in strengthening their bond with their alma mater, Universiti Putra Malaysia.
