A total of 37 UPM alumni from the Indonesia Chapter arrived in Malaysia to participate in the Mekar Series 21: UPM Alumni Indonesia Chapter 2024 program. The delegates arrived at KLIA 1 and 2 between 3:30 and 4:30 p.m. and were warmly welcomed by Associate Professor Dr. Siti Aqlima Ahmad, Director of the UPM Alumni Relations Centre (ARCUPM).
The organization of this program reflects their commitment to strengthening the close bond between the alumni and the university. This gathering is not only a networking opportunity but also serves as a platform for discussions on collaborations and contributions toward the advancement of UPM and the alumni network globally.
The next event was the Dinner and Networking Reception held at Astana Putra. Present at the event were the Director and Deputy Director of the Alumni Relations Centre, the President and Deputy President of the Alumni Association, as well as alumni from the Indonesia Chapter. The event featured an idea and strategy sharing session aimed at strengthening the relationship between the alumni and UPM.
The presentation of tokens of appreciation between the Alumni Relations Centre and the Indonesia Chapter alumni marked the highlight of the evening. It symbolized gratitude and a commitment to fostering stronger collaboration in the future. This program is expected to serve as a catalyst for more collaborations between UPM and Indonesian alumni.
