SEPANG, 4 August - The return of UPM alumni, Ravichandran Tharumalingam (alumni class 1990) from the second-highest peak in the world, K2 in Pakistan, was celebrated merrily at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
He once again brought UPM name to the eye of the world when he success conquered K2 mountain peak in Pakistan and raised UPM flag.
Prior to K2, he had proudly raised UPM flag at the highest mountain peak in the world, Mount Everest. His spirit for the love of his alma mater should be exemplary.
