2-6 Feb 2020, Johor – Alumni Centre UPM has committed to planning and organising various alumni programmes in order to sustaining a long-term relationship between alumni and its alma mater. Tracing Alumni @District Johor (TAD) was the second series in 2020. This programme focuses on several agencies under state governance. The programme aimed to trace the alumni in a small group through selected agencies in order to strengthen the alumni relationship in respective agencies and indirectly get them to contribute back to alma mater.
It was a five-day event that Alumni Centre UPM (ACUPM)’s delegation was visited Kolej Vokasional Tanjung Puteri, Kolej Vokasional ERT Azizah, Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat Negeri Johor, Kolej Vokasional Perdagangan Johor Bahru, Sekolah Menengah Teknik Johor Bahru, Sekolah Menengah Medini, Majlis Perbandaran Pasir Gudang, Jabatan Perpaduan Negara Negeri Johor, Yayasan Sultan Ibrahim, Sekolah Menengah Pendidikan Khas Vokasional Indahpura, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Institut Pendidikan Guru Kampus Temenggong Ibrahim, Kolej Vokasional Tanjung Piai, Pejabat Pertanian Daerah Pontian, Jabatan Perhilitan Negeri Johor, Jabatan Landskap Majlis Bandaraya Johor Bahru, Orchard Golf dan Johor Port Berhad.
In addition, Alumni Centre UPM has successfully seized the opportunity to trace alumna, Puan Yatimah Mahali, alumni class 2002 that was running Yatimah Gemilang Enterprise, her own business.
The outcomes of planned programmes and visited agencies, a total of 168 alumni have been traced, updated their personal information and collaboration prospect has been agreed on. Meanwhile, this programme is a best platform to get financial contribution from alumni through mobile box 1 Alumni 1 Sumbangan Ringgit (1A1SR).
