Serdang, January 29th - The Alumni Relations Centre of UPM (ARCUPM) extends sincere appreciation and gratitude to the Alumni Centre of Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) for their willingness to host the milestone session between ARCUPM and the UUM Alumni Centre. This virtual milestone session aims to facilitate the exchange of ideas on organizational management between the UUM Alumni Centre and ARCUPM. Managing data, information, and activities involving alumni is crucial to ensure continuous and fruitful relationships between alumni and their alma mater.

Alumni are the greatest stakeholders in universities. Their involvement significantly impacts the university's policies, missions and visions, which drive it towards excellence. Efforts to reconnect alumni with their alma mater are essential and the entities who are closest to alumni, responsible for alumni affairs and student matters, play a pivotal role in this endeavor.

Recognizing this, ARCUPM as the entity consistently acting as a bridge between alumni, universities, and students, continuously strives to enhance its network and services to ensure alumni feel welcomed to return to their "home". The milestone session was attended by the Director of the UUM Alumni Centre, Associate Professor Dr. Lily Julienta Abu Bakar, Deputy Director Mr. Halim Md Yatim, and staff. ARCUPM was represented by its Deputy Director, Mr. Fahmi Azar Mistar, Assistant Registrar, Ms. Aida Fitri Peli, and staff.

It is hoped that the insights gained from this session will contribute to better knowledge and achievements in organizational management and alumni engagement in the future. Once again, ARCUPM expresses its heartfelt gratitude to the UUM Alumni Centre for their generosity in sharing knowledge and experiences.
