Serdang, Jan 15th - The first series of the Sejam Bersama Alumni UPM (SEBA) podcast featuring guest panelist, Mr. Mohamad Sabrie Mohamad Salleh. Mr. Sabrie is a member of The Board of Directors of Universiti Putra Malaysia and also an alumnus of the UPM Class of 2009.
A podcast recording hosted by Mrs. Aida Fitri Peli (Administration Officer ARCUPM) was held for an hour at a recording studio located in Galeri Putra, Canselori Building UPM.
For this series, SEBA presents a comfortable concept to attract youngsters, especially students to watch and subsequently gain valuable insights from successful alumni in the industry.
Mr. Sabrie Salleh, the founder of Burger Bakar Abang Burn shared his experiences ranging from his student life, the ups and downs of his career path to the challenges and achievements of being an entrepreneur. He emphasized that success is a tough nut to crack and demands significant sacrifices not only for time but also for patience.
Despite experiencing setbacks in business, he persevered because the knowledge gained during his time as a UPM student did not support the notion of giving up.
"I have felt a painful fall. I have felt unable to even afford to buy milk for my child, but with that pain, I rose and sought a way out of the suffering," he said.
The video will be broadcast on Putra TV's YouTube channel and UPM's Official Facebook page, and ARCUPM hopes that it will serve as a source of inspiration for UPM students to always be prepared, not fear of challenges, and continue to strive for a bright future.
